How to share layouts with someone?
|
Layouts can be saved as Desktop Background Layout file (.dtw), which then can be shared with friends of family.
When another person uses your layout file, they will have the same photos in the background, with all its slideshows, webcams, etc. It is a great way to keep up with friends and family requests for photos. They can modify your layout individually to suit their needs by adding or changing pictures, modifying slideshows, or other parameters (i.e. slideshow update interval). There are two ways to share your wallpapers. You can e-mail someone the current layout straight from within the program, or you could post your wallpaper to the web site (www.MyBetterDesktop.com). Click Share button, then choose "Send via E-mail" option.
In order not to overburden recipient's mail box the actual file will be uploaded to your private locker cache and the recipient will receive download link, along with your personalized message. Post to the site Click Share button, then choose "Post to a public category" option. You will see a window with a list of all public categories available. Navigate to the one you wish to post your wallpaper to, and press SELECT buttn. The wallpaper will be uploaded and will become part of that category. You can review all wallpapers posted by you by loggin in to the site. |
